We always have a good turn out for our Big Theme Wine-Tastings and this Wednesday evening, June 16th, 2010 ( 5:30-8:30 PM ) was no exception. We do not charge and everybody is welcome to come with family, friends, neighbors, business associated, etc. We get all age groups and on this evening we had five tables pouring an assortment of 31 wines, reds whites and roses : hopefully something for everyone in all price ranges, too. We don't want people going home empty-handed if we can avoid it.
Here we have Table # 2 with Eric Platt and Kelly of the Pinnacle House pouring their selections of wines that are sold through Washington Wholesalers.
Kelly and Eric poured the CHALONE 2007 Chardonnay ( )n Special for $24.99), the CHALONE Pinot Noir 2006 $39.99, fabulous, really showing well ), the ROSENBLUM Sauvignon Blanc 2008 ( $9.99), the ROSENBLUM Zinfandel Cuvee 32 ($9.99), the ROSENBLUM Syrah 2007($9.99), the PROVENANCE 2008 Napa Sauvignon Blanc (On Special for $14.49, we have sold so much already of this balanced, forward and delicious CA. Sauvignon Blanc - a great value!), and the JADE MOUNTAIN 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon ($13.49, I fell in love with this classic, old-world style Cabernet Sauvignon and we have sold lots now ).
It's already Friday, July 16th, 2010 here at home as I get ready now for work in Washington D.C. at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008 Tel:202-363-4265 sales@clevelandparkwine.com, www.clevelandparkwine.com ) where I have managed the wine department now for the last ten years. It's 10:09 and I have to post this now as it has been way too long since it occurred. I will add more to it but in the meantime enjoy these photos of the wines being poured and our customers along with Kelly and Eric.
