THE GRAMMYS seem, from my understanding voted for the ' sure and
comfortable, the happy and the safe ' and not for the ' edge, the
crucial message, and it is so disheartening to once again hear how women
have not won a Grammy in so many years, as if they are not as talented,
gifted, tuned-in, with the program, deserving, ambitious, willing,
attentive, inspired, wanting this honor! They are and so much more!
Incredible to even be having to point this out. As a mature man I am
appalled and upset and disgusted by this! Enough already, open your
eyes, ears, hearts, souls, and realize that clearly life has moved on
and many left of you voting in the dust and behind. Do not punish those
with insight and talent moving so far ahead and pushing the boundaries
and trying to be both expressive and original.
ABOUT THE State of the Union address tonight
we have plenty to offer you to watch it. chilled in the fridge, too for
you. Enjoy some food and wine while you watch and let's see where the
apples fall? Probably really close to the tree! The lower branches might
catch the fall of the ones on top branches with better views and more
sun and power to control those behind? You never know? Maybe we can kich
enough of those fallen apples far enough from the trunk of this tree,
trump it so to speak and have the bounty spread out more evenly?!? One
can only hope and work peacefully, firmly, with dedication, vision,
patience and never-ending resolve, energy and faith to do so. Cheers, it
will be something, of that we are all sure, and we will hear the tweets
from the many birds around alerting, informing, comforting us from the
blares and blasts from the one big tweet! Cheers.

immigrant Nicole Nouraya from Annandale, VA. She will be there and we

WHAT FOLLOWS BELOW is an old store email that I wrote and posted
back in late January, the 31st of 2012 yes! Enjoy, and check for changes

WE HAVE EVERYTHING for you, and to be sure I am talking now with
both Santos and Ravi. Ean and I have already gone over some ideas and I
will include those here as well as those of both Ravi and Santos. Where
will you all be? In front of your t.v. or in front of a friends? Many
people will be. I am one of that one percent of the one percent that do
not watch the Super Bowl and may doing something else fun with my family
depending on the weather and how we feel? We may turn into the
half-time show as my son wants to watch Madonna sing. Will she sing her
famous songs : " Like A Viognier ", followed almost immediately by the
song : " Like A Vermentino ". I had no idea that Madonna was such a
white wine fan. Maybe she will release as a follow-up : " Like A
Verdicchio "? So many possibilities, so little time.
ANYWAY : We will have plenty of " Specials " for you this weekend
as you watch the Super Bowl. I guess there will be lots of everything
enjoyed : lots of beer and wine and certainly plenty of liquor, too.

Sauvignon and a dry red Bordeaux blend. Impressive the whole lot!

) : WE have Enrico of Derosa Imports here to taste a cross-section of
his Italian wines that his father-son company specialize in. They find
