It's always fun to get Klaus Wittauer ( kwselection.com , sold through Select Wines, VA. ) and just after having been mentioned favorably, too in the Washington Post Food Section wine-article written by Dave McKintyre the really excellent " new " Post wine-writer that has been at it a long time and has really brought a breath of fine fresh air to these articles on wine. Kudos to you Dave for saving us, the Washington metropolitan area from reviews recently written by food writers that always put the food before the wines, or so it appeared to this humble wine-educator/enanbler.
Klaus poured us some of the ANTON BAUER 2006 Zweigelt, $17.49 and the Leo HILLINGER Zweigelt, $21.99
Here are some pictures I took when Klaus came to see us a couple of Wednesday's ago. Oh, cheers to you, too Klaus for helping to really promote Austrian wines and make them more loved/enjoyed/appreciated by us here in the United States!
Cheers, TONY
