2011 Here At Cleveland Park Wines Tastes Italian 2004 COLLEMATTONI Brunello Di Montalcino W/ Mark Congdon Of J.W. SIEG Imports

This was a nice serendipitous revelation for me trying this delightful 2004 COLLEMATTONI Brunello Di Montalcino that Mark Congdon of J.W. Sieg Imports. It was showing beautifully and it's classic, traditional-style Brunello that has all the elements one would expect that are best suited and that reveal themselves to real advantage when combined with food. I will ask Mark if there is anymore left for us to buy for June? What do you say Mark?

We have sold some really fine wines here at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008 Tel: 202-363-4265 sales@clevelandparkwine.com www.clevelandparkwine.com anthony.quinn@clevelandparkwine.com also on Facebook at : Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits and on Twitter now at : cpwinespirits. ) from Mark as he keeps bringing us a fine selection of his company's wines to chose from each and every week. Thanks Mark for keeping us so well caught up and with the times - even trendy - we like it and appreciate it a lot.

See you next week Mark when I will ask you more about the availability of this excellent 2004 Brunello Di Montalcino. If it's available then we will buy some and have it available in a few days as it is already Saturday, May 28th, 2011 on Memorial Day weekend here in Washington D.C. Happy Memorial Day to one and to all and may it be fun and happy reflective of all that now and have served in our armed forces.

Of course you will need some wine so come on by the store today and get some for the long weekend. The store is full and brimming with promise and possibilities and roads taken and still unexplored - wine being a great part of it all but certainly not all of it.

I'd like another glass of this 2004 Brunello Di Montalcino from COLLEMATTONI about now. It would be great with my lunch, sitting outside and watching life go / walk by on Connecticut Avenue N.W. here in our nation's capitol on Memorial Day Weekend.

As I drove into work today I was surrounded by all the Rolling Thunder motorcyclists driving ( a man up front and a woman behind - hair blowing in the wind, flags flapping, hair in ponytails and hair ties in American flag kerchiefs and leather vest jackets for many of the bearded salt and peppered men ... I loved it! What a sight, one after the other, sometimes a motorcycle train of six or seven or more motorcycles rolling in the humid, sunny, hazy wind ... ) ... even as I crossed over the Teddy Roosevelt Bridge heading from Virginia here into work and crossing over the Potomac river ) ... inspiring, I loved it , being surrounded ...

So, come see us, drink Brunello and ask me about this COLLEMATTONI Brunello 2004 next time you visit us here in our great Cleveland Park neighborhood, N.W. Cheers, TONY
