It was great to finally meet Frenchman Marc Laderriere the Director Of Sales at VINA ROBLES P.O. Box 699 , Paso Robles, CA. 93447 Tel: 805-227-4812. Michel Dumas and Anthony Quinn ( me ) tasted the wines : two whites ( a dry Sauvignon Blanc and a dry blend of mostly Viognier, Vermentino,Verdelho and Sauvignon Blanc WHITE ), and three reds ( a RED blend. a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Petite Sirah ) . We loved them all, all fruit-forward, pure, focused, balanced - fresh and bright. We bought everything except the Sauvignon Blanc as it is atypical Sauvignon Blanc - good but did not remind me anything of the grape - too earthy and spicy/ pithy. Cheers Marc, great tasting .
