TOAD HOLLOW California & French Wines Tasted @ Georgetown Day 17th Annual Feastival At Grace Church, Saturday Oct. 9th, 2010 11:00AM-4PM W/ Sam-Tony

I've got a whole lot of writing to do here tomorrow but the pictures can stand all on their own and show what a wonderful time was had by all this past Saturday October 9th, 2010 starting at 11:00 AM and continuing until 4 PM here on a stretch of Wisconsin Avenue just below where it intersects with M Streets N.W. ( Georgetown ) and goes towards the Potomac River. Grace Church and it's gardens are just past the bridge that crosses the canal up on the left side of Wisconsin Avenue. That's where we were set up, Sam Gessner ( our local rep for LVDH Imports that sells us these excellent TOAD HOLLOW wines ) and me ( Anthony Quinn, I buy thwines for Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits, 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008 Tel : 202-363-4265 sales@clevelandparkwine.com www.clevelandparkwine.com Facebook at : clevelandparkwine&spirits ) pouring a selection of the California TOAD HOLLOW Vineyard wines of the Russian River Valley and the one " Risque " Blanquette de Limoux sweeter-style sparkling French bubbly ( they make a dry version but we were pouring the sweeter one in this case. Judging from what the people said there we definitely made the right choice ).

We poured it alongside the TOAD HOLLOW Pinot Noir, dry Pinot Noir rose, unoaked Chardonnay and dry Merlot. We sure did pour a whole lot of wine and had a steady line the whole way through. It felt great to feel in demand and in demand we certainly were!

Grace Church was raising money to feed and shelter the homeless. Last year I heard that they raised twenty-five thousand dollars and I am curious what they raised this year. Judging from the incredible day and weather and the big crowd I bet they did really well once again. It sure did make Sam and me glad to be there and supporting such a worthy cause.

Stay-tuned for more tomorrow and in the meantime enjoy these many photos of many that I took this past Saturday. It was so much fun for me, the entire experience. Cheers, TONY
