Rep Mary Leigh Leaves Kysela Imports To Be With Her Ailing Mother, Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

     Here at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits 3423 Connecticut Avenue, N.W. D.C. we have grown to enjoy working more closely with Kysela Imports in Winchester, Virginia because of Mary's excellent service, attitude and attention to detail. WE will miss you Mary. I've included the two pictures taken yesterday here in the store as Mary said " bye bye " to Mike and me. I've also added earlier pictures when she was selling and presenting wines ( as well as tasting them when I asked her to join us and give us her opinion ) to us.

     We hope your mother gets better Mary. We also hope you continue to grow and realize your potential in the expansive, exciting wine-world of ours today. Thanks for brining us the excellent Chouilly champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs of CHAMPION, $74.99. We just received our shipment this week of the excellent 2000 CHAMPION and we will be happy to suggest if for some of those more special occasions of our customers. 

     Mary, you also brought us some great everyday wines like the DOMAINE DE REGUSSE Vin de Pays Des Alpes De Haut Provence, 2007, $10.99  100% Pinot Noir. We've reordered it now three times and will probably taste it this Saturday as we get into our SEPTEMBER THEME here of FRENCH VIN DE PAYS wines that are less-known. We will not cover the Languedoc and the Pays D'Oc wines this month.

     Mary, you also got us some excellent Sicilian 2006 Nero D'Avola ( indigenous red grape ) from RESONATA that we now sell at the really inexpensive price of $6.99. It's really nicely-balanced, bright, fresh. You also got us back into using Fran Kysela's DOMAINE COUSSERGUES ( www.chateaudecoussergues.com ) Vin de Pays D,Oc wines like the 2007 dry Viognier white, the white 2007 blend of Chardonnay and Viognier, and their 2007 dry Sauvignon Blanc, all at $9.99. We also love the liters of HUGL Weine dry white Austrian Gruner Veltliner 2007, $10.99. We've already ordered it three or more times. All these wines are currently here in the store.
