Each Wednesday our local reps come streaming into the store here at Cleveland Park to taste us on their new releases and wines that they would like us to buy. They are here early and waiting for both me and Mike Martin to come through the front door. We sampled quite a few new wines and there was some " new " Spanish sparkling wine that are rep Lisa Giufre brought us. Mike specially liked the dry sparkling rose, not so much the clear white. I liked them both. It's called CONDE de Cava Brut SUBIRATS, BOTH sell for $14.49 from San Sadurni d'Anoia. We ahve them both in the store.
They are both such wonderful breaths of sparkling Spanish air as filtered through these teasing/pleasing, lilting, lively and fresh and exuberant bubbles. These are perfect sparkling wines for this warmer weather, especially when outdoors. BOTH are Grapes Of Spain ( Aurelio Cabestrero ) Selections.
