Cleveland Park Wine & Spirits Thanks Linda, the wines were quite good, I like these wines that taste of honest soil, minerals, dust and heat of the day, the sweat of the workers and the blending of all that transpired as the vines grew, the...See More

Michel Dumas was nice enough to suggest that owner Steve Shaw , Jr ( of the father and son team at SHAW Vineyard ) stop by to taste the three SHAW Vineyard wines of the :
1)Riesling 2008 with the great petrol nose and aged and beautiful flavors and character, $19.99, the
2) Cabernet Franc 2007 that was tighter, with more of an edge, needing a meal more than the 2007 red blend ...
3) and the Red blend of Bordeaux grapes, another 2007 from the Keuka Hill vineyards, a Reserve that I liked for it's fuller flavors, old- rustic, earthy and made me think of Italian taste, $32.99 ... and Steve, Jr.'s pet project ...
4) LiBELLA 2012 Pinot Grigio that was smooth, velvety and bright and really nice-sipping all by itself with a nice label and that unmistakable blue bottle, too, $19.99.
We will get in late July the Pinot Grigio and the Riesling for the store. Steve, Jr. is part Irish, part Lebanese by background and he and his father's wines are labors of love. They are already sold in some of the restaurants here and Steve was delivering the wines to them that are on there list.
Steve will come an do an in-store wine-tasting here in late July. Stay-tuned. Cheers, thanks for stopping by and tasting and the visit Steve, you are always welcome here. Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn 6/17/2014

Steven Shaw with his father own and make the wines of New York State's Finger Lakes SHAW Vineyard and on Tuesday , June 17th, 2014 he brought a little bit of original, authentic, just what-it-is-LOVELY-tasty-dry-earthy-a-touch-rustic-untouched-expression of -grapes growing in New York;s Finger Lakes soil, some from the Keuka vineyard , red and white that I really did appreciate because I did not think they were tampered with , altered, redefined, added-to as I find some wines today that I taste and I wonder : " What happened to the grape from which they started? Is there any grape in them? " I liked these wines Steven and it will be a treat to sell them and have you come in late July to deliver and taste them with our customers. We still need to work on a date for that? Here are some pics I asked you to take for me with your phone which you did and you sent them to me to share here. Thanks. This is my second post here on these wines, look for the first one on our Facebook page. I will also include all of this in a blog on : chatwine.blogspot.com that I will try and post later today. Cheers, happy Sunday all, watching the World Cup games? There's a big one later today... Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn 6/22/2014
