Mary-Lee Discovers The B. NEKTAR Meadery Honey Wines @ Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits Tuesday, December 10th, 2013 , Buys Some For Her Holidays Having Read About Them On The Flight She Just Got Off Of!

It was so nice to start my day recently with Mary-Lee that had just got off a flight from Atlanta. She asked me if we had any Meade? That's honey wine and I said : " Yes. " We walked back and I showed her what we had. She said that on the flight she had just read an article on it and that she wanted some to celebrate these holidays. Mary-Lee spied the B. NEKTAR and said that she believes it was highly recommended in the article. She bought several bottles and took them to our check-out counter as we chatted some more. I was thrilled about this story and said that we often have customers coming to the store having read similar articles. What a great sales tool : people have time to read on the plane and to have one come so soon after having read an inspiring article : well, what more could anyone want. Mission well done by all involved. We are happy to have done our part. Now I will alert the B. NEKTAR people that are from Michigan I believe so that they will be able to share this story as well. Coming this weekend... Carbonated mead made with hibiscus tea, honey, and fermented/aged with Brett Brux in a 15 gallon (first use) whiskey barrel. We're bottling on Friday, but expecting about 120 bottles. Available this weekend at the taproom. 1 bottle limit.
