I am still working on downloading the pictures for this blog and it does take some time. I will continue to add to it over this week. It's already Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 at 12:07 PM here at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008, sales@clevelandparkwine.com www.clevelandparkwine.com Tel: 202-363-4265 ) on a beautiful day. David Pinzolo did his in-store wine-tasting here on Friday, July 10th ( 5-8 PM ) and tasted some excellent reds and whites.
It was fun to revisit one of my favorites : the FALESCO Sangiovese 2007, $11.99 from Umbria. It's such a pleasure to drink with a meal as well as all by itself. The price is also always so reasonable. It was also fun to discover and taste one of our old favorites from BISCEGLIA , the 2006 Aglianico del Vulture dry, earthy, pithy and flavorful red, $14.99 which in my opinion is meant to be enjoyed with a meal.
We also drank some whites and I will include more about that soon.
Our meal at Potenza was fabulous as you can see here in these photos. Enjoy for now the story that they tell on their own without any commentary from me. Cheers ... Caio .. thanks David ...
Enjoy these photso I took of both events. Cheers, TONY
