David Pinzolo did his in-store wine-tasting here on Friday, July 10th ( 5-8 PM ) and tasted some excellent reds and whites.

It was fun to revisit one of my favorites : the FALESCO Sangiovese 2007, $11.99 from Umbria. It's such a pleasure to drink with a meal as well as all by itself. The price is also always so reasonable. It was also fun to discover and taste one of our old favorites from BISCEGLIA , the 2006 Aglianico del Vulture dry, earthy, pithy and flavorful red, $14.99 which in my opinion is meant to be enjoyed with a meal.

We also drank some whites and I will include more about that soon.
