Russian Standard Vodka Tasting Here October ( First Week I Believe ) 2008 At Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits From 5- 8 PM

It's always nice to have tastings here so that customers can try the products that we sell from beers to liquors and wines. Sometimes on a Friday or Saturday evening we will have a tasting of each category starting with the liquor at the front of the store, wine around our round table in the middle and the beer at the back end by our beer coolers. Fun stuff for one and for all.

On this evening this charming young lady came to pour. She told me at the time her name and I have since forgotten : sorry! Oh well, life goes on. Anyway, she did a really good job getting as many people to try the RUSSIAN STANDARD ( St. Petersburg, Russia ) as was possible. Many people already knew it but there were those that were trying it for the very first time and discovering a " new " imported, Russian vodka.

We've done really well with it ever since it was introduced here. We started with only the 750ml size bottles and now have the liters and the 1.75 ml bottles to sell as well. I guess it's been around a year now that we have successfully sold RUSSIAN STANDARD imported vodka.

At the same time we introduced the IMPERIA imported Russian vodka ( crystal quartz filtered ).

It's now Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 ( day after Inauguration Day ) and we have both the RUSSIAN STANDARD and the IMPERIA vodkas. The RUSSIAN STANDARD vodka sells today for : 750ml : ON SALE for $17.99. the liter ON SALE for $22.99 and the 1.75 ml ON SALE for $29.99. The IMPERIA 750ml bottle sells for $29.99. It also has done quite well when people don't mind spending a bit more. It also has been tasted here on at least one or more occasions.
