I was hungry, working on the store wine email and wanted to treat myself so I called owner Florence Devilliers of Lavandou ( 202-966-3002 info@lavandourestaurant.net ) just at the end of our block here in Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008 , sales@clevelandparkwine.com www.clevelandparkwine.com Tel: 202-363-4265 ) and chatted with her in French and ordered the trout for lunch, with a green salad, French bread and actual butter and a side of pommes de terres ; yummy! I felt special eating it here in the cramped space of our desk working on the email at the same time : almost heaven.
