Tasting these really fine classic wines of Bodegas Muriel and more modern style @BodegasEguia , all wonderful, two whites including the new first-vintage white #Albarino @PazoCilleiro #RiasBaixas #SpanishWhiteWine
that was rounder, fuller, more floral, a treat to sip, gentler,
brighter, a good intro price, too : BUT what blew me away were the three
Bodegas Muriel Rioja reds : 1) 2014 Crianza that was delicious to sip
in this humidity not, a treat, then the ... 2) Reserva 2011 that had
some French Oak 20% or more, that was fuller, rounder, bigger, then the
.... 3) 2004 Gran Reserva that completely blew me away on every level,
.... loved all three, gems, clssic, traditional, values, worth every
penny, here in June, working with John Peters to do an in-store tasting
of them on Wednesday, June 16th, 2017 from 5-8PM : stay-tuned?!? Tony
