Olga talks Turkish wines with me and Andrew, speaking of the outside modern influences of Italy, of the use of international grapes, of the eight hundred plus indigenous grapes of Turkey like The white Emir grape that comes only from Capedokia, and using her booklet with maps, pics and grape varieties to bring it all more to life, including the wine of course of the Emir grape that is a lovely goldrn color of sunshine and honey hues, and that makes.me think of a.Muscat or a Palomino grape with its nutty and cream paste flavors that coat and saturate the palate, lingering long and.lasting nicely.
Talking fine Turkish wines and the history of the vines as we taste them here together for the first time, Andrew, Olga and Tony. We then tasted two of the wines @ClevelandParkWinespirits this past weekend with our customers, Andrew and me, Tony, and they were very well-likef, bought, too. All very good, glad to have them and selling them.
Great conversation with Michel Meunier, a French film director I met for the very first time by chance at @ClevelandParkWinespirits and we got to talking and we share many similar udeas and pasdoons, I.loved this, really I did, still do, and I got this video by accident, thinking I was going to get more pics, the video was on, and we were rolling. I do not think that in years I have met anyone happier. That pleased and surprised.mr greatly at the time.
Meeting Michel Meunier and talking with him, making a video here not even knowing it, what a fun moment this day finding out that he is a French fil director making films in India part of thr year, living in DC, and also, Paris. Yesterday Chris and I got a tasting of the RIDGEVIEW Wine Estate British sparkling wines, three that we tasted, all excellent, all fresh and bright, lively and completely engaging and balanced.
