My Pictures That I , Anthony Quinn Have Taken Of Laurence Faller An Owner And The Winemaker At The DOMAINE WEINBACH In Alsace, France When She Visited Me With Danny Haas @ Cleveland Park Wine And Spirits On Monday, March 21st, 2005 From 4:30 PM - 6 PM o aste Her Fine Wines With Our Customers : Merci Danny Et Laurence!
I am so happy that I have found these pictures and have just now finished scanning this group and may share them all with you now. I feel so much better having done these as I do think they are some wonderful memories of a wonderful and talented and beautiful, energetic, disciplined, passionate and lovely person : Laurence Faller, je pense a toi, je suis vraiment content que tu etait ici ce soir-la et que tu as verse pour nos clientele vos vins de la famille Faller et Domaine Weinbach .... merci infinement!
Pictured above is the ' Cuvee Laurence ' Pinot Gris Altenbourg that I drank of DOMAINE WEINBACH, 14.5% alcohol that I love and it was definitely a Pinot Gris that one day back in late 1999 or early 2000 that Danny Haas of Vineyard Brands brought to Addy Bassins MacArthur Beverages that I fell head-over-heels in love with and said that I simply ' must have! "
It may have been just as I was leaving MacArthurs to come to Cleveland Park Wine and Spirits to manage the wine department there that this all happened.
For some reason I remember distinctly going to my car and thinking about this with a big contented smile and grin on my face as I did. It was a sign, it was a turning-point, it was a great moment.
Thank you Danny for that and thanks you for all the times you brought Laurence to the store to say ' hello ', and to the time you both took me to lunch at Indique our fine Indian restaurant across the street from us in Cleveland Park in Northwest, Washington D.C. Cheers Danny, I appreciate all of this, I really do.
