FERRARI Brut Trentino Northeastern Italian Great Sparkling Dry Rose Wine Enjoyed First Week Of January 2011 at Home in Northern Virginia With Louie &

My Family ... the headline should finish above.

The FERRARI sparkling Italian Trentino wines ( the dry rose at $32.99 , and the dry brut n.v. regular, $24.99 ) have been big hits for me and Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008 Tel:202-363-4265 sales@clevelandparkwine.com www.clevelandparkwine.com also now on Facebook and Twitter at : clevelandparkwine&spirits ) for December 2010 and January 2011.

It all started on Saturday December 4th, 2010 when we had our annual Big-Theme Bubbly -Champagne Wine-Tasting from 3-7PM at the store which is free and which everyone is encouraged to attend.

It was another huge success for us and one of the very first bottles to sell0out of the thirty or so tasted was the FERRARI brut n.v. dry and elegant and bright and creamy and caressingly smooth-tasting rose from Italy's northeastern region of Trentino that hugs the Swiss alps.

People loved it and it was so much fun to include.

Later on New Year's Eve I opened at the end of the day the regular n.v. brut FERRARI ( $24.99 ) and it showed brilliantly, too and many people bought it towards the end of the evening and just before we closed the store to take it along with them to whaatever parties they were headed off to to celebrate at midnight shortly the New Year.

Then at home on my three-day's off with my family just after New Year's we celebrated with our very own bottle of the FERRARI brut n.v. dry rose and as you can see in these photos I poured the FERRARI into our Lalique champagne glasses that my mother bought while we were living in Paris, France in the 1970's ( my father was a career diplomat back then at the American Embassy at first the head of Visas and then Passports and back again to Visas and the Talleyrand building before leaving to go off to Panama City, Panama to be the DCM and to see the Canal turned-returned back over to the Panamaniands when President Jimmy Carter came himself ) ... as you can see my daughter's cat Louie is quite fascinated with the cork and the shiny foil from it as well as the bubbles surfacing from the Lalique glasses, too .

It was fun and wonderful and memorable.

Cheers and Happy New Year to one and to all.

We have both bottles still available at the store here in January 11th, 2011 Tuesday morning before the Big Snow comes later today so you had better load up and call or come see us at the store while there is still time ...

It's now 9:14AM and I have to get ready for work and do my running exercises first ... TONY
