Here are some of the pictures I took of Peter Anastopolos that visited us yesterday and the day before. I took his position here at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits when he moved out to California. He's been there eight years now and just came by to say " hello " and mention that the store looks good. He bought some wine for the 4th and he's off now again. It was great to see you Peter, you look and sound really good.
Featured in the pictures are Ravinder Sharma, Santos Rivera, Mike Martin, Anthony Quinn, an old customer of Peter's that could not stop saying enough about how Peter added to his enjoyment of wine. Always nice to hear things like that, and after eight years to still be so positive, really nice. You can see Claire Rambeau in that back of that photo doing her 4th Laboure-Roi tasting of 2006 Beaujolais Villages ( ON SALE for $10.99 and the 2006 Macon Villages, ON SALE for $13.49 a bottle. Of course I had to take some pictures of Peter through the Riedel red burgundy glass. Too bad there was no wine in the glass. We'll fill it next time Peter. To that next time Peter, may it not be such a long time away. Cheers to you, TONY
