Beautiful day : It is Saint Paddy's Day Today! Wow, and we have two
tastings to tell you about for later today.

FRIDAY IS THE FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF SPRING , Wow once again as it is
supposed to rain then ...

HAPPY EASTER / PASSOVER / GOOD FRIDAY ...

And We Are Ready 4 It ALL! Believe me, we are more than ready and willing
and able and excited and motivated, smiling, cheerful, professional and
fierce and frank and fun and some frolicking, too , too , too!

BREAKING NEWS : Our Kosher Vinho Verde GRINALDA just arrived, only seven
cases available, $10.99 a bottle. I tried and liked it very much last week.
Kosher also for Passover , all good, I am ecstatic, really I am : what a
wonderful discovery and this will be great as the sun comes out more and
things warm up. It has 10% alcohol and so is still light, bright, crisp and
refreshing. Cheers. Call to reserve some if you cannot get here.

SO : We Have TWO TASTINGS TODAY : ( 4-7PM ) :

1) KNAPPOGUE CASTLE Aged 12 Years Single Malt , aged in Bourbon oak casks,
from Ireland, a Very Special Reserve, On Special for $35.99 a bottle,
regularly $48.99 a bottle! With 40% alcohol, this will be a great contrast
to the JAMESON Irish Whiskey that we will also try.

2)  JAMESON Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey, On Special for $26.99 a 750ml
bottle, come taste it and ...

3) JAMESON Select Reserve Black Barrel , $41.99, where they smoke the
staves of the barrels to make the flavors richer, lusher, thicker and even
more complete and consuming and sublime.
WHAT A TREAT, JOIN US, never any charge, everyone always welcome : come
celebrate with us today.

SO MUCH GOING ON, love it.

I WALKED BY NANNY O'BRIEN'S earlier and saw all the Guinness Green stickers
on their window and on their street stand and it made me smile. I am
thinking that I will go and get my bacon cheeseburger there for lunch if it
is not too crazy? I will walk down , peer in and see for myself. That will
be fun, that will start the celebrating for me.

I WAS HAPPY when our local sales rep Bill Cook had a green label bottle of
the KIM CRAWFORD Kiwi, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc to try as I have been
thinking about asking for a taste as some of you have complained recently
about the quality suffering recently, and others of you have asked if we
have it, and listening to my story, have wondered aloud about that?
SO : tasting it just now I have to say I think it is mellower and that the
gooseberry taste has been toned-down and that it is milder and more to my
liking than past times when I have tasted it.
Maybe that is what the people that have recently tasted it and not liked it
meant? Anyway I will discuss with Bill about getting it back on our shelves
in April now that I have once again tasted it.

IMMEDIATE UPDATE with Robert and Joe Kennedy :dinner last week at
Ristorante Picolo in Georgetown :

" the food and wine were excellent. a very interesting salad which was
fennel with apples and walnuts. also lobster ravioli with a lobster bisque
sauce was delightful. A real bargain for the price. How bout' that veal
scallopine with the Petrignone 2010.. mmmm... would go great with any type
of pasta dish topped with ragu and lasagna... grill out or have some BBQ
..last few bottles of the 2010 vintage here on the shelf at Cleveland
Park... grab them while you can.. sono in esaurimento!!!! " Grazie Robert,
what a great time, you, Joe, Steve, Dan, Sarah, and more ... happy people,
