Rodrigo Arizu, winemaker/ owner VINA ALICIA Here Friday, May 23rd and At Tallula Restaurant Tuesday May 20th, 2008

Here are some great pictures of owner/ winemaker Rodrigo Arizu of VINA ALICIA ( Lujon de Cuyo , Mendoza, Argentina ) here and at the Tallula restaurant outside of Clerendon, Arlington Virginia. We tasted many great reds that night, the best made from 100 to 150 year-old vines. I loved them and bought some of each of the three ( NEBBIOLO 2004, an old-mutated clone of Malbec called BROTE NEGRO, 2005 and the CUARZO 2004( 95% Petit Verdot- 5% Grenache & Carignan - ALL selling ON SALE for $72.99 ) and the regular Malbec and the Cabernet Sauvignon ( BOTH $27.99 ). It was quite the evening at the restaurant and then here at noon on Friday. Check the previous blog here in the month of May for all the info. I should have already included these pictures. As you can see they are a bit atmospheric and fun and more on the art side at times. Hope you like and appreciate them. Cheers. All the wines are here now in the store. Call Mike or me at 202-363-4265 for more info. Go to : www.vinaalicia.com for more technical information.    TONY
