I have been working with Grappoli Imports now for years, ever since I received in the mail at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits a letter announcing that they were a ' new Italian wine ' company with noteworthy wines at very fine values. I was dubious at first but with time with the persistent and professional work of President Alberto I tasted over a period of visits and was slowly won over.
David Enright that hails from Perth, western Australia took over and our business with Grappoli Imports at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. , 20008, 202-363-4265 anthony.quinn@clevelandparkwines.com in Cleveland Park a ' happenin' place ' ! ) has continued.
One of the wines that has been consistently popular and a great performer, as well as great value , is the PRAVIS Pinot Grigio that we buy repeatedly as many of our customers ask for it by name. Dr. Erica their oenologue and family member came to visit here with David ( there's a blog on her here as well at chatwine.blogspot.com that you can find in the search engine here and read ) and that was great, too. We have used other wines by PRAVIS like their excellent Muller Thurgau, Chardonnay.
PRAVIS represents some of the very best and I hope someday to visit them. That would be great. I would enjoy that enormously.
In the meantime we continue to sell PRAVIS very well at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits in our nation's capitol. Grazie Erica, Alberto e David, e a presto : Caio!
