Little Rain, Full Moon Last Night Of August : Glorious

It Sure Is Wonderful To See Herbs, Spices, Grasses Growing, reaching for
the sun!

So Nice Last Night To See Our Neighbor's Cucumbers in their greenhouse
hanging so serene, all shapes, all sizes, so many of them shaded by their
wafer-thin crinkly brittle leaves, moonlight trying to enter in ...

AND TODAY on Channel 8 Amy Riolo talks about Greek food and our very own
santarini Assyrtiko dry 2013 white from feredini ... nice.

more selections coming Today/tomorrow-from now on!

THINGS ARE REALLY GOOD HERE  here at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits thanks
to you our customers. You continue to come through our front doors in
search of whatever suits your fancy, whatever you've just read about, a
gift, a special request of a family member - whatever, you come and we try
our best to help you in your quest, your journey through the thick and thin
of this vast alcohol business today.

TO SAY WE HAVE FUN is an understatement. We have a blast with you. We are
really hitting a great stride as we work together with you all to meet your
needs. Please always feel free to tell us what we may do better. We can and
need to get better than before. There is no reason that we not be able to
be better at what we do to help make your lives richer and more special?!?
None at all, we are here at your service.

I JUST CHECKED TWO DELIVERIES IN and am happy for that, really happy as our
shelves will fill back up once again as school has started and more of you
are back from vacations and we need to replenish and freshen-up our stock.
SO : it is like candy to my eyes  when I see new Cotes Du Rhones, new
Sauvignon Blancs from New Zealand, new red Rioja wines, wines made from the
Tempranillo grape at $6.99 a bottle with ' new ' labels, more delicious dry
Verdicchio, more Frapatto indigenous red Sicilian to entice and liven our
shelves, and more and exciting Cabernet Franc from Argentina and not just
another Malbec, two ' new ' French champagnes at $29.99 and at $43.99, one
a Grand Cru made by Caroline that has been here already twice tasting with
you all.... really special, really nice.

AND SANTOS and AUGOSTINE were also checking in a beer order. Lots came at
the end of last week as Santos exclaimed that it was all sold-out and we
needed more for the weekend.

WE NEED LOTS FOR OUR LABOR DAY WEEKEND and so we will be filling back
everything over the next three or so days. That is all very positive and I
have gathered some of the items here on our tasting table to mention to you
all.

I AM HOPING THAT whoever parked in my parking space out back and caused me
inadvertently to get a ticket on the street will come by and do the right
thing and pay my ticket? That is the only negative thing that has occurred
so far and so I will let you all know what happens as it is in this block
where we all work.
