IT'S Cleared up, the pollen, has it?!? I certainly hope so.

HERE IT RAINED last night and going to rain more, and it certainly is
cooler!

AND IT IS COOLER and easier to move around and not work up an immediate
sweat! YES! LOVE that!!!!

THIS PAST FRIDAY AND SATURDAY WE HAD MICHAEL TASTING some fun 3-liter boxes
of South African wine, as well as some fun plastic 750ml bottles of South
African wines as well. Very successful, and some of you asked if we could
do a wine-tasting of 3-liter box wines and we will try and do that as it
would be quite educational and fun.

ON THIS PAST SATURDAY we had ESTEBE tasting some really special Spanish
reds, whites, sparkling Trapat Cava rose and also some ALEXANDRO Sherries,
the Manzanilla and the Moscatel. All the wines showed beautifully. They are
all still here, come get some for this cooler weather today.

NOW : WE HAVE OUR 2nd 6-BOTTLE WINE SAMPLER for you to be ready by later
today or at the latest by tomorrow! Wow, the first was so successful that
we are pushing ahead with a better-value 6-bottle wine sampler for you all,
On Special for $58.99, regularly $72.00!
SO : In This Sampler We Have 4 U :

1) Trebbiano D'Abruzzo ' Fantini ' 2013 from FARNESE, $10.99,  12%
alcohol by volume,  : Wow, really impressive, really extraverted, lively,
JUMPS OUT at you, Chris and I loved it, so did all of you that tasted it
here the day we opened it, and you all wanted to buy it the day it was open
and buy a bottle, too! Wonderful, and perfect for this weather, highly
recommended.

2) Organic Pinot Grigio from Veneto, 2013, $11.99,  Italy from
MUSARAGNO, ... I took a bottle home and enjoyed it with my daughter and
wife and we really enjoyed it. I liked it for it's balance and it's finesse
and I found that for an organic wine it shone, and it showed beautifully :
highly recommended. It is nice to sip all by itself, so be careful you can
drink a bottle without a meal and you will feel good afterward, even
without food, Nice.

3) Domaine MILLET French dry rose, 2014, $11.99,  that has so much
added flavor and character I simply had to have it! Really, it was
delicious, balanced, flavorful, distinct, and a delight when I tried it. A
' must-have/ must-try ' wine, wonderful! It is also highly recommended.
Only thirty-six bottles of this so come and try it while you can, we cannot
buy any more.

4) Rose Vinho Verde 2014 from Portugal's ALTA LIMA, $10.99 is so
brightly, briskly, tartly, tangly refreshing and PURfect for this warmer
yet today cooler weather , as we know it will get hotter again! It has a
lovely deep rose color, nothing wimpy or light from the color, and yet the
flavors are so buoyant and lively and the flavors do  ricochet all over
one's palate . so much so that you may have to duck quickly or be smacked
right between the eyes with all it's charm. Highly recommended.

5) " Ali " Toscano Sangiovese 2013 from Italy, $$12.99 and made by
DONNA & LAURA, $12.99, 12.5% alcohol, wow, I loved this, from the first
sip, Smooth, round, full and so pleasing on so many levels. I kept trying
it to be sure how I felt, and I liked it more and more and more. Highly
recommended.

6) Malvasia Nera grapes here, an IGT from southern Italy's Salento
region,  $12.99, this IL MANDORLA, $12.99, 13% alcohol stole me away, made
me stop " dead in my tracks! " WOW, I absolutely loved this,
medium-to-full-bodied, so much density, opaqueness, flair and flash and
deep smouldering, wonderful and earthy and dried and
roasted-toasted-suoer-boasted-inky flavors to calm and to soothe the soul
and any aches and bones, and at such a ridiculous price : highly, HIGHLY
recommended. we loved this, so did many of our customers. Only Michael that
tried it later in the day did not rave about it. We will open another
bottle for you Michael! Cheers,
