Friday, May 9th, 2014 ( 5-8PM ) : We have Robert Kennedy of RWK Imports,
LLC here this Friday to taste some Lambrusco sparkling wines, one red and one
white, as well as a FABulous lighter-bodied Frappato Sicilian indigenous dry red
and a lovely dry white Verdicchio from Italy as well : perfect to celebrate
Mother's Day this Sunday, any graduations and other celebrations as well.
TODAY : " New " With Robert : white and red Lambrusco : wow, wonderful, the white is soft and velvety and great to sip, and the red is like a delightful Bing cherry that has a touch of an edge and is lively and crisp and great with food while the white is soft and elegant and great to sip all by itself ... , the Vercicchio is soft and silky and smooth and nice-sipping, too ... and the red Frappato from Sicily is a delight to sip all by itself : ALL perfect for this weather of ours today in the eighties, and all PURRfect for this weekend of Mother's Day and celebrating and relaxation and MUCH APPRECIATION and LOVE!!!! Mother's Day this Sunday, some thoughts ...
TIME TO FOCUS and try and do something that she would really appreciate no
matter what her age may be? Try and do something really special that makes her
smile and realize that you are trying with this symbolic gesture to return some
of the extraordinary love and time and nurturing that she has given you all,
that still probably continues to give you to this day.
IN TODAY'S DAY and age we are still often very close and that's in both
sentiment and feelings and in distance from where she lives. For many of us
it's short drive, for others a plane or train ticket, a car ride ( I am in that
category - and I look forward to making the drive this weekend ).
SPEND SOME ACTUAL TIME TOGETHER and make her day easier with whatever tasks she
normally does daily for all of you.
