'Nouveau Visages ' / ' New Faces ' Of Bordeaux Wines With Mark Congdon Of J.W. Sieg Like The CHATEAU LA COUDRAIE 2010 Bordeaux Vignobles Jolivet Proprietaires A Soussac, Gironde, Bordeaux, France : We Tried The 2009 Pictured Here

We sell the CHATEAU LA COUDRAIE 2010, $13.99 on the left pictured above here - though we originally tasted the 2009 vintage : both fabulous vintages of Bordeaux wines when our local J.W. Sieg rep Mark Congdon brought all these 2009 dry red Bordeaux to sell way back when they were originally released.

Mark tasted us on them here at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits at 3423 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Washington D.C., 20008, Tel : 202-363-4265, and we bought several of them including the two above towards the right with Heart-Shaped motifs. They sold well. They were very young and needed more time to cellar - another year or so, but most everyone bought and drank them immediately.

Mark was generous and shared them with our two wine resp on the left, as well as the lady in white on the right and her chef boyfriend that is holding some in his glass.

We share everything at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits,m always have. That's the only way to do it, the only way I see to do it anyway.

It's fun to see the colors of the wines - vibrant and inviting, sometimes clear and sometimes more opaque. I love the reflections I capture as well in the colors of the wines.

Sometimes the pictures really are captivating, and together like this they tell a story.

Look at the beautiful color above of the 2009 CHATEAU LA COUDRAIE : makes me want to have another glass tout-de-suite! S'il vous plait Mark?!?

Fitting to end here with Mark pouring and visible, focused, serious, professional! I will have to call our ' new ' rep and see if more of the 2010 is still ' disponible ' - available to us? Cheers, sante, enjoy ... spring has finally sprung on this late April Fool's Night, April 1st, 2014 that has just changed 12 minutes ago to Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014 ...  thanks again Mark...  Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn
