We will taste :  1) ADOLI GHIS 2011 from ANTONOPOULOS, $21.99, 12.5% alcohol by volume,  a complex and flavorful and great mineral and extraction along with citrus and terroir and everything you want in a dry, complex white for this cold weather, for the flavorful ' comfort foods ' we eat to warm our bodies and souls at this time of the year! It's wonderful, really wonderful!  2) a dry red blend 2006 of Cabernet and Nea Dris - an indigenous grape no one has ever, EVER heard of, from ANTONOPOULOS in Patras, Greece , $32.99 a bottle, 14.5% alcohol by volume, on the mainland - this will show what ' bottle-age ' can do to a wine, make it smoother, more of it revealed, the secondary and tertiary layers of flavor and taste - a food wine for sure!  3) Nemea 2010 dry red made from 100% Agiorgitiko grapes, by MITRAVELAS ESTATE in Nemea, Greece, 14.5% alcohol by volume, : a classic Greek dry red, $25.99, matured for 12 months in new French oak casks, and cellared for another year at least before released, unfiltered - the " real deal " : a fine, earthy, dusty-dry, rustic and great food wine that develops slowly ... 4) 2006 Private Collection dry red wine from Patras, Greece from ANTONOPOULOS, On Special at $17.99 a bottle, 14% alcohol that has become a favorite here of our customers, that's another exceptional food wine. Anyone having lamb tonight?!? It's a good matching, it really is.  5) " Red On Black " Nemea 2012, made again from the classic , indigenous Agiorgitiko grape, from the MITRAVELAS ESTATE in Nemea, Greece, this $14.99, 13.5% alcohol by volume is a relief from all the others : lighter, brighter, more deep red garnet, fruit-forward, fruit-bright,fruit-fresh medium-to-light-bodied red that can be enjoyed with or without food!
