Cleveland Park Wine Cleveland Park Beer, Liquor & Wine
Featuring a wide, international selection of fine wines, micro-brews and
spirits
WE HAVE SO MANY WINES On Special NOW : I love these moments when I bring lots
of inventory-reductions here from the various wholesalers. The market is
glutted with too much wine and that is a good thing for us the stores and you
the consumers as they the wholesalers have to make the wine interesting for me
and then you to want to buy them. Whatever I save I pass onto you all. It's a
win-win-win situation for all of us : they the wholesalers gain valuable space
in their warehouses and we save. Often we save and also get wine that has been
properly stored and aged for us at greatly-discounted prices. I love this,
really I do.

COME CHECK OUT OUR STORE FILLED WITH sales/specials in ALL categories : beer,
ales, liquor, liqueur and wine. I will write about some of them shortly here in
this email.

ON OTHER FRONTS : A  Wine-Maker Wine Dinner @ CHEF GEOFF'S DOWNTOWN  ( 1301
Pennsylvania Ave. NW Washington D.C. www.chefgeoff.com/store contact Elli
Benchimol, Beverage Director at : 415-370-5224  202-478-5016 Fax, for more info
)  With Eric Anesi of GAUCHEZCO Wines, Argentina. This will be very special and
a whole lot of fun, too with both really excellent wines as well as excellent
food. I ate at CHEF GEOFF'S DOWNTOWN with a bunch of great Aussie owners and
wine-makers ( Rob Gibson of his own winery in the Barossa Valley ) ;  Peter of
LONGVIEW Adelaide Hills ; Nick Stacey of the VINACEOUS and the WEST CAPE HOWE,
Denmark, western Australian  wines) and Pat Lawson of LAWSON HILLS in New
Zealand. The meal was wonderful. We all had such an enriching experience with
great wine, food and company and I will not soon forget that. As owner chef
Geoff knows himself the man that got me there, Chris Pigott is quite a gem. I
know we both miss him.

deep blanket of snow there is a cereal grain that can survive the harsh winters
and the acidic soils - RYE, Like a draped hood over a monk, it is  the
righteousness inside that shines. "

LIQUOR / LIQUEURS From Ravi -

1) Martin Miller's Reformed LONDON DRY GIN  Westbourne Strength ( $52.99,
liter bottle with 6 herbs/spices ) was conceived by Martin the owner with one
question : What if money was not an object and someone could buy everything
necessary to make the best gin possible? He put this question to the test and
spared not expenses. It's excellent. I tried it this morning, there are two and
they are both excellent. This one is 15.2% alcohol by volume and on the back
label it announces : " The secret is the water ". It's Icelandic water. The
taste sure was clear, clean , pure, focused and sun-infused, too. Blended in
Iceland. Cheers. Tom O'Hara the East Coast rep for Kindred Spirits with Jean
Gagliolo just tasted us on it earlier. We already had some but it convinced us
even more of the excellence of these two Martin Miller London Dry Gins.

2) SAINT BRENDAN'S The Superior Irish Cream Liqueur (  On Special for
$12.99, 17% alcohol , 750ml  is made with aged whiskey ) and a great deal at

special.

4) BARSOL Pisco Primero / Quebranta ( On Special for $25.99, 750ml ) was
highly recommended to me the other day by one of our regular customers. He had
so many great things to say about it. Come check it out and let us know what
you all think. Cheers.
