Luca Martini That Helps Blend The Tuscan Wines Of IL BORRO Visits Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits & Anthony Quinn For The 1st Time Today, Thursday, September 12th, 2013 & With Nick & Andrew Of Siema Imports We Try The IL BORRO Flagship Red, & Two Other Wines ; What A Fine Wine-Tasting, Cheers! Grazie Luca!

Well , like Andrew Stover promised earlier , Nick that works with him at Siema Imports did stop by with Luca Martini ( blend General Manager, Sommelier Professionista ) from IL BORRO and BLEND4 Spirito Gastronomico ), and we tasted the
1)  2011 dry Chardonnay : so silky, so much like a transparent golden-glove made of a silk texture made / spun from the Chardonnay grapes - lovely, ... $32.99 a bottle ...
2) the 2010 PIAN DI NOVA dry red Toscana blend of 75% Syrah and 25% Sangiovese : so elegant, so textured and layered like so many oriental carpets that offer different patterns, colors, weaves and textures to entertain and excite our palates - Susan, our customre just said it was really good but still needed another 3 or more years - she has a point, but it can be enjoyed now as well, $32.99, ... and the
3) IL BORRO, the flagship that has " ruby slipper " brilliance and shine, polish, it reflects light like the finest rubies, that's just the start, look at it, be put under it's spell by this alone,  ...  then revel and languish and be cradled and rocked as if in a hammock from these spider-fine weave of flavors that defy gravity and keep one suspended and comforted, and safe ... and HAPPY - CHARMED, LONG, gradual, rolling and energized finish that raises and lowers you - and strings you along in a really satisfying way. Not heavy, not too big or too flavorful, ... this wine is pure elegance and finesse and more subtle and so fashionable, so classy, so " classic ". bravo Luca and all the rest of the team at IL BORRO that blended this : what a delightful " work of art " : I just took a sip, it absolutely warms and pleases, tease and comforst me, and makes me really look forward to both my next taste and what the next moment will reveal?!? Cheers, grazie Nick, Andrew e Luca, e Salvatore ( that I got the lovely email from this morning ), e a presto,  CAIO!  BRAVO!  Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn  9/12/13
