Dear Wayne, the tasting last night here in the store in Cleveland Park our fabulous Northwest, Washington D.C. neighborhood in Washington D.C. with our fine local rep for Monument Imports, Scott Calvert, Friday evening from 5-8PM, August 2nd, 2013 was a grand success and we sold lots of the BASTIANICH 2009 Slovenian dry white Ribolla Gialla. WE still have three or so cases but they will most likely be sold-out by the end of today, Saturday. It has been grand working with it and the Malvasia 2009 from Croatia. People respond immediately with their own personal stories each and every time that I mention the history of Friuli and where these two wines are made. Many have visited, many have wonderful, colorful, fun stories to relate and it's great to see their faces light up with life and to see the animation this news of either Craotia or Slovenia gives their features and their voices. I love it : it's contagious, does the same for me : and I catch whatever they have and we then trade it back and forth, fueled by each other's enthusiasm. What more could we ask for?!? Anyway, thanks for all this information. Come by sometime, do not be a stranger. Check us out on our Facebook page and LIKE us as we LIKE you. Our Facebook page is : Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits. Cheers, have a great weekend, too. You have a really fine rep with Scott Calvert, consider yourselves very lucky.
