Reconnecting Once Again With Italy's CANTINA FRENTANA Terre Valse, Terre di Chieti, I.G.T. Rocca San Giovanni Indigenous Dry White Cococciola Grape Variety From Abruzzo Called COCOCCIOLA & Tasting It With Our Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits Customers Yesterday, Saturday August 3rd, 2013 In Northwest, Washington D.C. , 20008 : A " Happenin' Place ! "

( I have used these pictures here above and below borrowed from the Cantina Frentana Facebook page. I hope that they do not mind?!? ) Cheers, TONY ... and enjoy rediscovering the indigenous grape varieties from Italy and from around the world. .... It was a great tasting yesterday and the white showed beautifully from Abruzzo and many people liked it, bought it, and liked the story of supporting a local indigenous grape as well. We like that as we try and keep them well and alive at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits every day as so many large chains that have simply added wine to their selections to increase their profits tend to sell only the easier-to-sell/less-work wines and grape varieties that people already know and recognize and need little if any explanation from the store's staff. Cheers, Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn We at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits enjoy sharing our knowledge and experience and stories with you to give you a more enriching experience. As one of our good customers yesterday said : " It's the stories that people remember ". I agree wholeheartedly as many of you know I like to tell you stories along with the facts of the various wines that we sell to make it easier for you to share them later with your family and friends. That same customer was repeating the story so that they could later share it. Cheers, Happy Sunday, August 4th, 2013 everyone! It's nice outside now ... the indigenous dry white grape variety from Italy's Abruzzo region that I speak about here is called Cococciola. Cheers, happy Sunday, August 4th, 2013 everyone.
