Cleveland Park WineCleveland Park Beer, Liquor & Wine
Featuring a wide, international selection of fine wines, micro-brews and spirits

WE HAVE LOTS OF WINE NOW AS WELL AS BEER AND LIQUOR. IT'S BEEN A BIT CRAZY HERE, SO MANY TRUCKS ... ( THIS IS AN OLD START TO AN EMAIL ) ... SO MANY TRUCKS & DELIVERIES WILL START COMING TODAY AND TOMORROW, THROUGH FRIDAY.

THE STORE'S FILLING UP ONCE AGAIN WITH MORE THINGS TO TEMPT YOU ALL!

IT'S BRIGHT & BREEZY and chilly out side now and I just finished helping Bill a " new " customer and that was a really nice experience for me as we discussed some of his recent wines that he has tasted and suggested some " new " ones for him to taste now. It will be great to learn more about his palate as he visits us here and we continue to discuss those grapes near and dear to his heart.

THESE PAST WEEKS Michel and I have been tasting some really spectacular wines that will start to arrive now. We get so excited about some of them and when they finally arrive it's for us both like being in a toy store or a candy store and we cannot contain our excitement!

A GOOD EXAMPLE of this are the white and red California wines of LA FOLLETTE : I have brought 2 into the office to mention here ( though we have bought more ) :  1)  LA FOLLETTE 2010 Chardonnay North Coast , $24.99, 13.9% alcohol by volume, ...  and the   2) LA FOLLETTE 2009  Pinot Noir " Van Der Kamp Vineyard " Sonoma Mountain, $49.99, 14% alcohol by volume, ... www.lafollettewines.com, ... both made by winemaker Greg La Follette that was the winemaker for FLOWERS wines for years.

MICHEL & I GOT THE CHANCE to taste recently these " current " vintages with Greg La Follette himself here in the store and I must say I was prepared to " dislike " all the wines when I heard who Greg was, and instead I had to eat all of this and become humbled and appreciative as I ended up liking pretty much everything that Greg tasted with us. We bought heavily, too for us because both our conviction and appreciation of Greg's results was so strong.

WE ARE BOTH THRILLED to have these fine wine selections for Greg La Follette of his California LA FOLLETTE wines here using both the Chardonnay for the whites and the Pinot Noir for the reds. BRAVO Greg, it was a real pleasure to meet with you and taste with you. What a fine effort, what truly fine wines these are!

ALL IS WELL as Michel ( MIchel on the web page of Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ) and I  ( I have worked on our Facebook page and suggest that you go to it and " like " us at : Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ) continue to work and improve what we are offering and making available to you all " on line ". It's a pretty daunting taste when you realize how many items that we carry here in this long, rectangular space that have been the stomping and grazing grounds, the  " respite ", the " calm " from many a storm?

WE SURE HAVE  fostered and sheltered, comforted, engaged , challenged and rise to many the occasion to better help you all. I realize that they have not all been successes, and for that we are truly sorry. If there is something on your mind, something bothering you, something unfinished, unanswered, unresolved, ...

PLEASE BRING IT or whatever  to our attention now so that we may address it. We are not mind-readers and need your help with this. Please share and be open and discuss whatever is on your minds with us : bring it out into the open? Thanks.

I HEAR SANTOS LAUGHING  up in the front of the store so I am off to see what " goodies " that he has to bring to my attention so that I may bring it to yours.
