Early 2013 Theresa Morrison Brings Vigneron Paul Sloan Of SMALL VINES Wines, Sebastopol, California To Taste 2010 W/ Anthony Quinn & Michel Dumas @ Cleveland Park Wines, Northwest, Washington D.C. 20008 After Snow ...

... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... We like working with Theresa Morrison of her own import company with John Morrison, her husband Boutique Wines based here in Annapolis, Maryland. Here we were tasting the 2010 vintage of Paul Sloan's Pinot Noir. Small production and still young and nice to put away for a little while and enjoy for some special occasions that always seem to crop up in our lives. I would not rush through these wines. Give them time to show their inner beauty and strut their stuff! ... ... ... ... Paul Sloan comes from Sebastopol, 95472, California, and the winery is on Green Hill Road. For more information of these wines you can go directly to their web page at : www.smallvines.com. ... ... I will ask Theresa Morrison when she next visits us here at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits , 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008, Tel : 202-363-4265, anthony.quinn@clevelandparkwines.com what the current stock on these wines is now, Friday, April 5th, 2013 as we do not have any. Being the beginning of the month depending on what we have choose from we will order some for April. ... ... When Paul visited it had just snowed here in Washington D.C. and so I included some pictures of that to show the time, the setting and specific place. ... ... It was a good tasting and it was a pleasure to meet and to taste with Paul. It's always a real treat when we get to meet the people behind their wines and they can tell us the real specifics of their production, their dreams, their passion, their inspiration, those that help them realize all of this. It's quite inspirational for me and I enjoy learning as much as I can about what makes them tick as well as their wines, vines and grapes, of course : as all this is intimately tied together : one cannot really exist without the other. ... ... ... ... Thanks Paul and Theresa for stopping by earlier this year. Now it is my turn to catch up and see what is what now in April, 2013 when Theresa or John visits us next? That will be fun. Love wines, love to sell small vineyard wines, quality wines, and wines that have their own characteristics, flaws, strengths and that taste like they come from a particular place and time and do not fall into the category of tasting like so many other wines without much to identify them from another. Cheers, Happt April 5th, 2013 everyone, Anthony ( TONY ) Quinn
