Daughter Emmanuelle Mellot Of Alphonse Mellot of Loire Valley French Sancerre's ALPHONSE MELLOT Pours Wine @ Cleveland Park Wines 6/7/08

These photos are way overdue of Emmanuelle Mellot, daughter of Alphonse Mellot of ALPHONSE MELLOT Sancerre Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc whites and red and dry rose Pinot Noir: as well as dry Chardonnays, too. They make it all and very well, too.

I posted one of my very first blogs here ever on Saturday, June 7th, 2008 of the Laurent Givry Elite portfolio wine-tasting at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008 Tel:202-363-4265 sales@clevelandparkwine.com www.clevelandparkwine.com ) on Friday, April 28th, 2008. It was our first such mini portfolio tasting here of the Elite wines and winemakers/owners in our store. The second just occurred and I have more blogs to post on the current one as well of Bernad Bouvier of Burgundy and more.

In the meantime check out my original blog without photos of Emmanuelle Mellot after you enjoy these pictures of her posted here. She was invaluable at making the first wine-tasting a grand success for us and I thank her ( merci encore ) once again. She was willing to pour another French wine-maker's wines as we were unprepared for his absence and did not know that she was in town for this. It all worked out wonderfully and today, May 18th, 2010 we still have the ALPHONSE MELLOT wines in the store and are happy to sell and recommend them to our customers. Both Emmanuelle and her father Alphonse have been in our store and done tastings. Check out those, too of her father's tasting.

In these pictures we have Mike Martin that worked with me, Dave, Jane Davenport pictured, too. It's a friendly neighborhood store and we pride ourselves in this and in customer service.

It's clear in these photos that everyone was having a great time and enjoying the company of their new found friend Emmanuelle.

Some of the pictures are a bit darker and I apologize for that. On my old monitor here at hoe they are harder to see than on my Apple monitor at work. I like them anyway : they provide ambiance and gravitas as well as contrast to all the others. Cheers et merci encore Emmanuelle. Reviens nous voir la prchaine fois que tu est a Washington D.C. TONY

I love this last picture above. Look above and you will see an open, empty box/case of the ALPHONSE MELLOT wines that Emmanuelle poured for our customers on this Friday evening almost two years ago now. Being an artist myself I love the figures dancing/cavorting on the side of the box.
