CHATEAU LAFITE-ROTHSCHILD, Pauillac, 2004 & Steve Rowland 'N Me @ Wine Spectator Grand Tour Wine-Tasting 4/30/2010 @ Ronald Reagan Center

This is just the beginning of the blog entries on this wonderful tasting put on by the Wine Spectator. There will be many entries to follow on other Bordeaux estates ( Chateau PontetCanet, Chateau Brane-Cantenac, Chateau Pichon Longueville, Chateau Branaire-Ducru, )  as well as wineries from Oregon ( Domaine Drouhin Oregon, , Tasmania ( Hathaway Wines ), Henriot Champagne, Sterling Vineyards CA., Pine Ridge, CA., Erath Winery Oregon, Domaine Serene Oregon, Disznoko ( Hungary ), Sigalas Santorini Greece, France( Albert Bichot) Burgundy, St. Supery, Caiarossa Italy ,  and more ... some with pictures, some not as my memory card ran out : oops!

Hope these pictures tease and please you and make you want to go out and purchase some wine or drink some that you already own. Cheers and read and scroll down ...

Enjoy these pictures from last night's beautifully-orchestrated event with plenty of room to move, plenty of wine, some welcome food with all that wine, and overall a very enjoyable event. Kudos to the organizers and everyone involved. My hat is off to you all.

I loved this forward, fleshy, supple and fruit-driven, impeccably balanced 2004 CHATEAU LAFITE ROTHSCHILD from the Pauillac region of Bordeaux.

Cheers, TONY
