Grape Juice @ MORESON & BLAAUWKLIPPEN Vineyards Just Starting To Become Wine In Early March Of 2009 In South Africa

This is just the start of this grape juice's life as it will now begin to turn into wine and satisfy one day the thirst and the palates of those all around the world.

Here it now is Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 here at my home in northern Virginia at 11:26 PM and I wonder how these young wines are faring now? At what stage in their young development are they : these reds , roses and whites?

They sure did taste wonderful in these first few days. I really enjoyed them in their thick, viscous, creamy and opaque youth and wonder what they look and taste like now almost eight to nine months later? I guess I will simply have to get John Morrison to take me back so that I may try them all over again. What do you say John?!?

It's almost the new year and I thought it would be nice to see what grape juice looks like as it starts it's life : sort of like we as humans will start our lives all over again come January 1st, 2009?

I saw and tasted real promise here in these various grape juices of Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Merlot. Wow : quite a show here between these two wineries from Stellenbosch and Franschoek.

I hope you enjoy these photos and the colors and the compositions and the wonderful cloudy opaqueness of the grapes' liquids.

Happy New Year to one and to all and thank you very much at both BLAAUWKLIPPEN and at MORESON : you all were the best with John Morrison, too.

Cheers and till next we meet.

I can't wait to taste these wines also once that they are bottled and come to our store in Washington D.C. at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008, Tel:202-363-4265 sales@clevelandparkwine.com www.clevelandparkwine.com ) where I manage the wine department.

Hasta luego, until later, a presto ... TONY
