Arielle Monaco, Mark Longsworth & Jon Daniels Of Country Vintners Plug " New " Wines/ Releases / Vintages For Us Here At Cleveland Park Wines, 2009

I have a lot to write here but these pictures do tell stories of this moment when Arielle, Jon and Mark were all here tasting Mike Martin and me ( Tony Quinn ) here at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 200008 Tel : 202-363-4265 sales@clevelandparkwine,com www.clevelandparkwine.com ) on some of their selections of wines.

As you can see we had customers in the store at the same time while the tasting was taking place.

And so I have my work cut out for me to fill in some of the gaps where the pictures do not tell all of the story : names. prices, vintages, etcetera for all these wines.

I will work perhaps some at the beach. Some of us are going off to relax and paint and enjoy the splendors of the beach : others are going off to get married and enjoy their honeymoons. It's an exciting place the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I could see myself taking many of these wines down with my family to be enjoyed there. What a good idea!

Cheers, TONY

Stay-tuned for the stories and commentary that will follow. In the meantime enjoy these photos ...

Enjoy these photos. I will write a story and add more info soon. TONY

I Tasted 5 " New " CA. Wines Of Aaron Horton : TEIRA Sauv. Bl. / Zin , ROBIN K. Chard & Cab. Sauv / SAXON BROWN 2007 Semillon, Too : What Fun!

I welcome everybody at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirts ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 20008, Tel: 202-363-4265, sales@clevelandparkwine.com, www.clevelandparkwine.com ) as this is my window out into the world of wines and I don't even have to go anywhere. Everyone or at least lots of interesting reps bring thier wine selections as well as their winery owners and winemakers by as they know that everyone especially owners and winemakers are always welcome.

Here I tried five " new " wines to me and I enjoyed the experience liking personally some more than others. The quality level I found extremely high.

As these pictures show I had two male reps ( Aaron R. Horton, national sales manager being one of them ) showing me these five wines : 1) a TEIRA Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc , a 2) SAXON BROWN 2007 dry white Semillon, from the " Cricket Creek Vineyards " in the Alexander Valley , a 3) ROBIN K. Chardonnay 2006 from the Napa Valley, a 4) TEIRA 2005 Sonoma County Zinfandel, and a 5) ROBIN K. Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 from Sonoma County.

I am at home now in northern Virginia and have to get back to the store to find my notes and comments on these wines. I will do that soon but in the meantime I want to share these photos that I took. Cheers and stay-tuned for more. TONY

Enjoy, TONY
