Ronnie Miller Of Robert Kacher Selections Tastes Friday Night, June 12th, 2009 At Cleveland Park : TARIQUET, INACAYAL , ANDRE BRUNEL,French/Argentina

I like this picture I got of Ronnie looking thoughtful and introspective.

Lauren came to help Ronnie pour the INACAYAL Mendoza, Argentiina Pinog Grigio, $13.49 as well as the TARIQUET 2007Gascogny Sauvignon Balnc ( $10.99 ) and the ANDRE BRUNEL Cotes Du Rhone ($12.99 ). Thanks Lauren.

You can see that we got some a good turnout of customers here and in some of the pictures that follow. We had three tastings going on at the same time : beer, liqour and wine. What else could anyone ask for?!?

I love the big satchel that the young lady is carrying below : what art treasures, drawings, designs, posters, original works of art are hidden within? I'd love to see. I should have asked : I was too busy selling and snapping pictures. Oh well, maybe next time. ...

It's always good to have a good turn out at these tastings. Everyone gets caught up in the mood, excitement and magic of the moment. I love seeing all these Bobby Kacher wines out on our tasting table. Our good customer here is lingering over this INACAYAL 2008, $13.49 Medoza, Argentina Pinot Grigio. She told me seconds after I took this picture how much she enjoyed it. She was trying to decide between it and the 2007TARIQUET Sauvignon Blanc, $10.99 from Gascogny, France where the fourth Muskateer came from - D'Artagnon! ... Oops, this caption belongs further on as you scroll down. Sorry ...

Theresa Morrison ( in black ) happened to stop by, too and tasted along with us. Theresa brings us great wines from South Africa like MORESON and BEAUMONT, BLAAUKLIPPEN, CAMBERLY, DE MEYE and more ...

This is where the caption above should have been written about our customer trying to decide between the Pinot Grigio ( flavorful, some real body and character and quite dry ) and the Sauvignon Blanc ( clean , crisp, lively, bright and vibratingly zesty and intense.

I love seeing all these people i our store in Cleveland Park, Washington D.C. our nation's capitol!

We also tasted the CHATEAU GRANDE CASSAGNE 2008 ( $10.49 ) dry rose from France's Costieres de Nimes area with Ronnie and our customers here in Cleveland Park. Owner Dianne makes some really flavorful, balanced wines and we are always happy to have them here at Cleveland Park.

She's back here in this last picture trying now to decide on the ANDRE BRUNEL red Cotes du Rhone? We decided to pour it this Friday night because it shows so well , even with the heat and humidity. Many of our customers must have agreed with us because it sold really well.

Hope you like these pictures of our lively, fun, Friday evening here at Cleveland ParkWines & Spirits. TONY
