Jennifer Bock & John Salzberg Are Married Now : Great Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits Customers & Believers In Us & Our Service To Our Community

It's now been two or three years since Jennifer Bock wrote her graduate paper on us as well as a number of other local Washington D.C. stores showing how each of us has been successful here in our individual ways. She did a pretty exhaustive study of us and shared it all with us. She's been a big supporter and champion of ours over the years and has since married John that is pictured here with her.

I believe that I have taken these pictures over the last two years.

As you can see I employed my signature picture sty;e of taking some of these pictures through the wine glasses. Some come out better than others and they always reveal something extra each and every time.

The pictures of course mark a certain period and time and place and sometimes are more artsy and sometimes more traditional. There's a place and a time for both : they both add sometime to help our memories recollect and piece together with their help the other facts and details that our memories misplace or forget without helpful reminders such as these.

Thanks Jennifer and John for believing in us and Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to you both as well as your families.

You know where to come when you need something for home, meals, family, neighbors and friends.

You know where everybody knows your name ...

Cheers and see you really soon we hope.

You need to stop by really soon and wish Mike " Bon Voayage ! " as he is headed soon to New York ... and we will all miss him after now almost thirteen years here at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ... what will we all do?

It's now 10:27 PM here at home in northern Virginia on Sunday, December 2009 as I type these last few words on a really wet and cold fall evening that reminds me more of winter when you want to be by a fire with a glass of red wine in your hand, a bottle near by, someone you love next to you and time to enjoy the moment and be warm and snug and relaxed ...
