LAUREL GLEN, CA. REDS Tasting In BIG THEME November 2008 " American Holiday " Wines Wed. Nov. 12th, 2008









     Arielle Monaco of the Henry Wine Group will be tasting the red wines of the LAUREL GLEN CA. winery here for our " Big Theme " November 12th ( Wed. ) wine-tasting of American holiday wines from 5:30-8:30 PM. Here are some pictures I took last Wednesday October 1st, 2008 of Arielle when she and our other wholesale reps came to show us and taste us on new wines/vintages, etcetera.

     Arielle will be here tasting four of these delicious reds : the  2006 " REDS "- a equal parts CA. blend of Zinfandel, Carignane and Petit Syrah - ( $11.49 ); the "2006 ZAZIN " Old Vine " Lodi Zinfandel ($21.99 ); the " CHEVERE " Central Valley, Chile Cabernet Sauvignon ($11.49 ),  and the  2005" TERRA ROSA" ( $17.99 ) Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina.

      Hope to see you this coming Wednesday evening Nov. 12th, 2008 here in the store for our three-hour American wine celebration with five owners/winemakers from Virginia ( winemaker D.J from PEARMUND CELLARS;  owner and grand " dude " hippy-winemaker, too - Brad McCarthy originally from BLENHEIM and now from his own  BRADFORD REED wines and Chris of STONE MOUNTAIN ) and Maryland ( owner of SUGARLOAF MOUNTAIN Vineyard, and owner/winemaker  Paul Robert of DEEP CREEK Vineyard ).
      We also have the best reps ( Jody Jackman ( NY State, Long Island's WOLFFER ESTATE ), Lisa Giufre ( CA. - AUDESIRK, ALEX SOTELO,  WS - NOVELTY HILL and OREGON - BOEDECKER winery ), Marci Weinstein ( CA. RABBIT RIDGE ), Jennifer Horsely ( CLOS DU VAL ), John Pallo ( Ohio, FIRELANDS), and Doug MohrCA's EDMEADES, KINTON,  and PEPI wineries ) pouring the various wines they represent here in Washington D.C.  from New York State, Ohio, California , Oregon and Washington State.

     This will be quite the event of  November 2008 in Washington D.C. Join us, never any charge. Three hours to learn, relax, discover, make new connections with wines and all the people about you! Make this one of your events!  TONY
