LAPHROAIG Islay Single-Malt Scottish (3) Whiskies' In-Store Tasting At Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits Saturday Afternoon Nov. 15th, 2008

We just recently within the last week or so did a tasting either Friday or Saturday evening at Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits ( 3423 Connecticut Avenue N.W. Washington D.C. 2008 sales@clevelandparkwine.com www.clevelandparkwine.com (202) 363-4265 ) of three LAPHROAIG single-malt scotches (www.laphroig : www.laphroig.com/friends ),. We tasted the 10 Year-Old Islay , $49.99; the 10 Year Old Original Cask Strength is $69.99 and one other that we were currently out-of-stock on.

The same lady that came earlier this month and poured the CAFE BOHEME vodka.creme liqueur was back to do the honors and introduce or re-familiarize our Cleveland Park Wines & Spirits customers with LAPHROAIG Islay single-malts.

The tasting went well and we sold several bottles. It was hard to resist : they are richly-textured, golden sun-deepened in color with unmistakable peet flavorings that though pronounced and strong are yet balanced and quite appealing. I surprised myself this go-round and found myself liking them more than ever before!

I took a number of the artsy type of pictures that I like to take with the glass and the Islay single-malt scotches to show off their bright yellow golden colors and the fun distortions and patterns that are made by taking the pictures through the glass. They come out like liquid orbs of golden Scottish Islay liquid sun trapped inside the glass and ready to warm and hearten and mellow.thaw-out even the coldest of dispositions and demeanor's!

Hope you like the. Cheers, and an early Happy Thanksgiving and Holiday season 2008 to One and to All! TONY
