Samantha, owner of CHATEAU FELICE Here May, 2008

It's always nice to get Samantha of CHATEAU FELICE here in the store with us. This is her second visit and we love selling the Chateau Felice wines from Chalk Hill, California. They make both reds and whites. We always sell more reds than whites : the 2003 Merlot estate , $23.49, signed is here now and drinking beautifully, even with this extra-added heat and splashes of humidity. Come check some out and see what you think. The wines are more European in style, best with food and always balanced with the alcohol in control. The 2004 " Acier " Chardonnay reserve, $22.99 is always a surprise and a real treat. I like it best with food : medium-to-light-bodied with lots of extra flavoring, so many more nuances of flavors that grow and expand and continue to excite.
Here Samantha is and I've taken a couple more creative, artsy photos. My  " new " thing is to take pictures of owners and wine makers through the Riedel glasses that with which I am sampling their wines. What do you think? Do you like/ appreciate this approach/angle? Let me know. Respond here, I'd like to hear your responses to these photos and the more informal text/dialogue. Cheers Samantha. Remember, some day I want to meet your mother the photographer who's shadow is so intriguing on her special bottling - tall lady ... We will get back the London Cabernet Sauvignon as well as the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon and the Zinfandel the first of July in time for the 4th and celebrating American !    TONY
