Claude, the owner of Clairette de Die, Rhone valley France Here

Claude, the owner of Clairette de Die was here in our store at Cleveland Park Wines and Spirits Friday, April 18th ( 5-8 PM ) tasting his famous off-dry white sparkling Clairette de Die ( 80% Muscat / 20% Clairette ) with our customers , most of who already know and love this product. Claude was also introducing his new Bordeaux clean/crisp dry rose, too - also sparkling. We sold out of both the night he poured them. Here are some of the pictures from this fun event. This was perhaps Claude's third or fourth tasting here. He pours pretty much every time he visits Washington, D.C. He's always welcome, a real French gentleman that makes a wonderful sparkling wine that reminds us all of really ripe, decadent apricots, peaches, nectarines spliced with accents of honey. Lovely.
